Sometimes good things are worth the wait.
We first met Ruth and Jesse last year, and although they were confident right away that they wanted to work with us, a sad personal loss and a number of scheduling conflicts had prevented us from getting together before this month, and compounded to result in them having to move their wedding date to next year.
Life can be like that, and if these two can handle all of their challenges with the grace and good humour they’ve handled these things, then they’re going to be just fine.
Jesse is a singer/songwriter, so it made perfect sense to start our session at the Grande Prairie Long & McQuade, whose management was kind enough to open the store for us on a Sunday (thank you!). And it was fitting too to wrap things up at their “second home”—the acreage of their close family friends (thank you guys too!). It was a beautiful day, and we had a wonderful time.
As you said Ruth, things happen for a reason. 2013 is not that far away. It’ll be worth the wait.
