We first met Kanda + Allen last year while shooting their friends’ wedding in Ft. St. John, and we were really flattered and stoked when they contacted us about their own wedding photos. This session almost didn’t happen before their wedding next month, but luckily Allen had some time off work and we were able to go for a bit of an adventure engagement session at the old Kiskatinaw Bridge, north of Dawson Creek, B.C.

If you haven’t heard of the bridge before, it was built during the Second World War as part of the massive effort to construct the original Alaska Highway. It is now one of the only curved wooden bridges in Canada, and it’s a beautiful spot. The light was really nice too right before sunset, and we couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable couple. Can’t wait for the wedding guys.
