Fruilian Adventures and Wedding Preparations
Wow. I’m feeling a bit lost for words trying to introduce what was easily one of the most fun and unique weddings we’ve ever photographed. When we heard our good friends Christine and Mike were getting married in Italy, we knew it would be a special experience. But “special” barely scratches the surface of this multi-day affair. We had an absolute blast meeting so many of your amazingly worldly friends and family. With Laura in the wedding party, I was flying solo, but it was a very personal honour to document her close friend’s wedding. Thank you so much for having us guys.
For a few days before the wedding, we all stayed and hung out at the Agriturismo Borgo Floreani, a lovely eco-friendly vineyard and farm that Christine and Mike worked at for a summer in 2010. Most of these images are from those days as well as our Proscutio adventure in San Daniele, the home of this salted pork delicacy, and some winery tours in the region.
Stay tuned for the wedding itself, which I’ll post int he next few days, and which was held at the Villa Gallici Deciani, a 17th century villa in the village of Montegnacco, in the Fruili region of northern Italy. There are heaps of additional images on the way!
Cheers,
Chris
