According to tradition, rain on your wedding day is good luck. For Marcedes and Shane, it couldn’t be more true.
Although the threatening clouds moved in slowly during the morning, the rain waited until pretty much the exact minute the ceremony ended before it decided to open up on us. It was one of those moments that no one there will ever forget. People running for cover, laughing, tons of energy all around. It was a photographer’s dream.
Of course, the setting on the beautiful Sexsmith acreage of a family friend didn’t hurt either. We moved on after the weather cleared up for some photos in historic Sexsmith before a wonderful reception at the Crystal Centre in Grande Prairie.
Laura and I really had a great day with this crowd, and we want to thank you guys and your families for having us. This is a bit of an epic post, so it might take a few moments to load, but I hope you enjoy.
Cheers,
Chris + Laura
p.s. – I think we may have set a new record for total number of people in our photobooth too… 🙂
