The B.C. Oil Patch
Our two day commercial photography oilfield adventure took Chris and I to Wonowon B.C., the location of a Hall North Construction Ltd camp. We were asked by Hall North’s marketing firm Burke & Burke to capture images for the company’s new website and various marketing campaigns.
While onsite we photographed environmental portraits of staff both in the field and in camp, two of Hall North’s camps themselves, the stunning views and landscapes of northern B.C., detail shots to be used as textures in graphic design, and documentary-style images of Hall North employees. To capture this comprehensive vision it took two 12-hour full-coverage days, with both Chris and I on the ground at various leases and sites 3-4 hours north of Fort St. John, B.C.
